No, meaning for the deer permit period. I got in their twice and we watched two before they closed it up and yes your correct those stags are something else. Incredible to see them.
I specifically loaded a different bullet for in there also, having to wait now...obviously.
Interesting reading, I for the life of me can’t understand penny pinching over a $2 pill if it means deer down. Nothing worse than an animal walking off because of the wrong pill.
I have never seen any PH or GK even look like being suspect and 90% of what I shoot at is sub 60m, in 308 and 6.5 and 7mm.

Here are 2 Sierra pro hunter and one game king projectiles taken from fallow shot through the chest and shoulder at 270 to 300 meters. All 130 gn .270 caliber. MV 3000 fps.
All one shot kills that dropped on the spot.
Projectiles remnants found under off side skin.
No difference in behaviour between the two types. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...836694ac96.jpg
I like them for fallow and goats but would not use them for bigger deer, reds stages or Sambar.
I’ve set up a second rifle in this caliber and shoot 140 gn Nosler BTS in it at 2900 fps MV. It’s my longer range open country light deer rifle. Under similar conditions 250 m + shots I these projectiles always punch through chest and shoulders. Have not yet recovered a jacket but find bits of the core and a huge wound trail.
