    2209 would be better.

    In terms of burn rates, 2209 is fastest, then 2213, then 2217 slowest.

    Look at the data posted by Oldbloke. You can see how the slower powders give better speeds with heavier bullets and faster powders give better speeds with lighter bullets.

    2213 kinda sucks a bit IMO, because it doesn't really give much more speed than 2209 (one exception there being the 150gr Hornady SP), despite using ~10% more powder.

    Dropping to 110gr, you might find that 2208 (even faster than 2209) would be right up there with 2209 as well. Maybe even a little better. There's less than 100fps difference between the two at 135gr in that screenshot...

    Look at the current ADI data on their website. It tells you which of the powders are going to be best suited to what you're doing.

    Thanks Pommy, I'll have a look at the ADI site and see what will suit most.
    Maybe I ditch the 140 Interloks and buy some 110g copper bullets. I want something to use on tahr and red stags though.

    Stuff the gold plated copper pills! those 140 interlocks in .270 kill shit dead! (including really big shit)
