This load was done by @Ryan_Songhurst and worked up to what seemed to be optimal accuracy. No pressure signs in my rifle and laser accurate.Quote:

all good mate.....just seen with own eyes lately and its made me VERY aware of it...made up loads for mates rifle and his hit high pressure signs WAAAAY before my old girl will do so...eg he 2grns below max and my old girl goes easy 2grns over....short throat,tight chamber Vs long throat and worn ...everything LOL.
I found that to be the case in two 6.5s, the old 1915 Carl Gustaf was sweet,(long-throat), and my 1944 Husky m96 (which chambered them fine), kicked-like-a-mule, and I broke the extractor when I finally got the bolt to lift. I'd assumed they'd both have similar throats, given that they're famous for long-throats..but not so, this time. I was luckyQuote:
