About to rebarrel and looking at the different reamers. Currently using norma brass loaded round .316 with chamber .320 so that works well for no neck turn. Considering lapua brass with .317 reamer.
Has anyone used both lapua and norma brass, did one last longer than the other?

If you watch winning in the wind on YT, he uses Lapua brass and reckons he gets 20+ reloads. He claims he acheives this by using a fireforming load that develops about 50,000psi, to harden the case head a bit, before firing a full pressure load.

I might be off topic here, bit I necked up lapua brass to 284win, from 6.5. They all eventually ended up with internal donut. So as soon as the norma 284 win becomes available I grabbed as much as I could.

I think it may be a common problem if necking up.
