52 ELDM or 53 Vmax?

Just keen to have a tinker while I have the forum Chrony...

Load is for Tikka 1-12 .223 so was thinking the 53 with 2206H?


Anyone got a load that worked in their Tikka or tried the 52 ELDM?

i shoot alot of 53vmax from my 1-8 t3. shoot very well. use bm2.

What are you using it for, paper, varmints or large game?

mostly wallabies and hares. work well.

I use the smk 52 in a 223 as well as the 55gr hpbt no complaints with either. Same powder charge in both but way different trajectories.

Yeah. Back in the meat days they are what I used in the .222 and .223. Closest thing to a Barnes we had back then. They are a good little deer bullet.

I haven't bought any since I sold the 22 250 but need more shortly.

Hoping to hit goats with them. Thinking the 52 Eldm and want a load that will work in the 1-12 too.
