    6x45 projectiles

I am looking for advice for projectiles for my 6x45 around the 70-75 gr weight range. I have used the 70gr match king and 75 gr v-max but they were both inconsistent on game. I normally use a Nosler 80gr varmint ballistic tip and have had good results but am shooting a bit further and think a lighter pull will give me a slightly flatter trajectory.

I've had the 70gr Blitzkings over 3000fps. They have a reasonable BC for a good trajectory. Haven't tried them on game though.

Some US websites boast the 75gr Nosler BT, I personally like the 75gr Sierra HP. It's more designed for hotter 6mm's, so at 6x45 velocities it performs like a big game bullet. @Wingman will have some good advice. Theres a whole multi page thread on the forum dedicated to the 6x45.

Trying the 70gn Targex at the moment, shot a few goats so far, but not enough to give a solid opinions on the performance.

Up close, they will still be rather violent but down range they have proven to be very reliable. I never push my 6x45 past 300m on animals, they deserve a humane death.
