Thread: 7 saum correct neck bush

What's the right bush to get for the redding competition neck die for 7 saum. Using 7 saum Norma brass. Also have some 300 saum Norma to neck down as well.

I see some use .314 bush.

Measure the neck of a loaded round then get a bushing .002" smaller that is the recommended way of doing it, if you still have the expander button
installed you can go smaller

Get a few sizes under your measure as well Tom. So say you need. 314 for a 2thou grip, get bushings down to 310

If you have a full case or ever change your load 2 thou won't cut it with some brass types and projectiles.

You also might find a bit more tension than recommended will shoot better with some combos of brass and projectiles.
