    7mm rem mag reloading cost

afternoon all recently i have brought a bergara 7mm rem mag which was a 2nd hand package making it the right price for a young fulla like me who is still in school.
the only problem is how expensive the ammo is so was wondering if anyone can give me a estimate cost if i was to reload for 20 or 100 rnds as i have a friend who is willing to help me do some reloading.

    cheers

If he has all the reloading gear including 7mm rem mag dies then its just the components.

If you have saved your used brass from the factory ammo you have used then I would say.

    $25 for 100 primers
    $80 for projectiles
    $80 for powder
This all depends on whether you can pick this up from a store at normal prices otherwise you could pay double that on trademe

I have some 154SSTs which would be a good all round projectile in the rem mag. PM me if this is of interest

Your other option would be to save the brass from every factory round fired and sell it on here once you have 100 or so of the same brand.

Yep, partitions are excellent pills but expensive, especially these days. For partitions in rem mag I’d go for the 150gn pills.

Depending on component between $2-3, 15-20 c for primer, powder 75-99 cents. Brass reused from factory ,
Bullets are you biggest cost. Premium $2-3, soft point. .75-1.25
I recommend a good old soft point 145-160 gr. Speer Btsp or hotcore, hornardy interlock 154 or 162 gr, or gameking. None of these are overly expensive, come in a box of 100, and kill game just fine, to sensible distances. (400).
Take the man up on his generosity, to load a few for you.
    Good luck.
