I shot a spiker with one, my daughter shot one as well. Mine was a 70yd(?) shoulder hit, dropped it right there. My daughters was a quartering on shot. Hit infront of the shoulder exited behind the opposite shoulder, deer ran about 100-150yd.

Did you take not of any difference of internals? Ie, the one that dropped on the spot, did that take shoulder bone in or out with it? Same with the one that ran, any bone? I feel thats the monolithic bullet downfall, requires something solid to open the petals up . Perhaps the original tsx with the hollow point would work better as it should have more surface area to expand early on?
