    7mm08 / 162 Amax powder options

    22 inch sporter barrel, gong load

    I have 2208, 2209, 2206H

    Norma brass

    Not sure if my chrony battery was going flat or what, but getting high 2400 to just over 2500 with 2208 before pressure signs... Hoping for closer to 2600...

    Am I better off going to a slower or faster burning powder ?

    RL17 or 2209 should see 2650ish with ease. I had 162's up to 2750fps from 22" but ended up backing off to 2650 for case life. Try 2209 first, if your not getting the accuracy or speed you need next stop RL17!
