    people have been shooting animals out to that range for over a century with the 7x57 which for all intents and purposes is the same as the 7mm/08 .... if you are happy with how your 7mm/08 is working for you...your load is killing well and is accurate....DONT FCUK AROUND WITH IT...... leave the plurry thing alone and just enjoy it as it is for what it is...Im a .270 man myself but my nephew went 11 deer from 11 shots with his 7mm/08 before cocking one up...I cannot argue with that effectiveness...poke that pill in the right spot and the animal wont care which case is pushing it.
