    8mm Mauser projectile options

    Looking for cost effective projectile options and opinions. Currently running the 198gr Prvi projectiles but at $45 for 50 it gets pricey for plinking. And milsurp 8mm is almost as expensive as my reloads plus having to do the extra cleaning. My 8mm mausers shoot true to their ironsight military zeroing at 300yds with the 198gr.

    Inclined to try the Hornady 170gr roundnose at $68 for a 100 from outdoorsupplies.

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

    About to start with 8mm myself so don't know for sure but the speer hot Core are well priced in 150,170 and 200gr. The privi ammo is loaded to full pressure I think so the 200gr speer loaded full house should replicate it
