It’s a horrible bullet. Has been problematic for lots of guys from the get go.
Requires a 1:9” twist or faster. Has a short bearing surface and very long ogive And if it isn’t spinning fast enough it gets a wobble on. When it was released Sierra said it would shoot in standard 1:10” rifles, but pretty quickly the reports came in that it didn’t. There was a thread about this bullet on the Sierra blog with one of the technicians. They updated the twist recommendation pretty quickly.
It should specify the twist right on the box unless it’s one of the original batches.
Any ideas on how it performs? Iv got 165s in 7mm for a 8.7 twist and don’t want to waste the other consumables if it’s performance is questionable cheers
