Thread: 9mm AP70N load

I grabbed what I could day before lockdown. I’ve got 500 Speer 125gn lead rn and a tub of AP70N.
I’m only using a single stage press so should burn a bit of time.

Anyone care to share what they’ve found to be an accurate load? I don’t have the ability to load a few and test for obvious reasons and thought about settling on the middle of the powder weight at 4gn. Not the best way to do things I know so thought I’d ask here before I start. Will be used in a CZ TS. If nothing else I’ll hopefully end up with an ok practice round.

4.2 gn AP70 works for me. Having tried less it lead to a great deal of unburnt powder.

Just do not share with a Glock owner as i have told that the lead projectiles may lead to issues with fouling the barrel but not experienced it myself.

Thanks for that. I was worried about too light a load being dirty.
