I'm going to try them out this weekend, so if I can't get decent results, will give you a buzz.

I'm talking 155's. I didn't go look to see how different 2208 and 2206h are bulk wise but still, I should get the throat reamed out a bit I think...

    Yeah, I use 155gn Amaxes.
2208 will be a little bit more bulky, not by much though.

I ran 47gr 2208 and 168 amax for 2750fps at max mag length.
was what i would call "lightly compressed"

They must be to ogive? Mine are at 2.850" OAL roughly.

I'm telling lies, I can hear powder now. They're compressed when they're seated, must be settling with all the rattling about in the hilux going over the pass to Christchurch

Dropper tube should sort it out. No pressure at all in mid summer, I can crack the 3K with a bit more in there I think.

    Yip, that sounds quite short.

Normal club loads with 2208 is 45.0, I started seeing some pressure signs around 45.5

For 155 Scenars I am using 44.5 2206h with no issues, my go-to long range load, used these out to 1200 @ Wairarapa superlongs, in comparison the 2208 loads were getting suspect above 900yds.

Switching to Dyers for next season, can't get any moe Scenars from NRA...

I didn't see how they could be"heavily compressed"
that to me is audibly crunching powder, projectiles being pushed back out etc

They are audibly crunchy, very crunchy. They haven't moved out at all. After seating there is no powder moving inside the case whatsoever. They get shaken a lot in the box going back and forth over the pass, must have settled the powder a lot.

Bugger. Nosler customs I guess. I buy all my own anyway so I'll stay with scenars I think. May give the bergers a hoon to see if they'll work in this barrel.

@ebf I emailed ADI and got the following:

Thank you for your enquiry of 9/6/2014 with regard to reloading using ADI Sporting powders.
The Ballistic Coefficients are as follows:
     .224 62 grain FMJ G1 Ballistic Coefficient = 0.320
     .308 144 grain FMJ G1 Ballistic Coefficient = 0.379
Extreme caution should be taken and loads should be worked up accordingly. Refer to our website at www.adi-powders.com.au or our 6th edition handloaders’ guide for more information, warnings and reloading safety.
We thank you for using ADI Sporting Powders.
    Yours sincerely,
