    Anealing brass

    Just done a few 222 cases 1st time doing some I intend to use only
    Done a few peices of scrap brass for practice before
    Do they look ok? Its a blue a little lighter than it looks in the photo

    They never glowed or had orange flame even done a few in the dark just to check

    They look OK. Colour seems to vary with the brand (proportions of tin and copper and ? varies) and what is on the surface of the brass or if the brass has been cleaned.

    There is no way of knowing whether you have annealed correctly simply by asking if they look okay.
    Go to the Annealing made Perfect website to see the science.
