    Anybody shot any game with the Berger 7mm 180gr Hybrids yet?

    Just putting together some reloading components in preparation for my 284 Winchester long range build. I will test the 162gr Amax & the 180gr Berger VLD but was wondering if Bergers 180gr Hybrid which presumably have a thick jacket expand ok on game. So does anybody have any experience with terminal ballistics of the Hybrids in their 7mm?
    Is Sierra's 175 SMK or 180gr worth trying as well?

    Apparently very good terminal performance, but thats out of bigger 7mm. Hopefully I can report back in a couple days with my experiences...

    I have dropped 3 hines with them but nothing over 450m tho they died like any other bullet i have used, dont use them anymore tho just use the a-max an barnes every now an then

    Didn't find any tahr worthy of shooting... Can confirm that they seriously upset hares though...

    mmmmm Just got the std 180's load sorted...Well mostly yet to do 5 shot groups and sight in.... Forgot about the hybrids.... are they easy to get?

    I've not had any issues getting them, there did appear to be a drought a while ago
