Thread: Anyone tried Federal 90gr 6.5 Grendel

Has anyone tried the Federal American Eagle 90gr Tnt ammo?

It's about the same price as the other non PPU 6.5G ammo ($4/round), but comes in a 50 pack, so $200 to give it a try.

I'm guessing it'll be accurate enough for goats and deer out to 100-150m and you the up with the brass to reuse.

Ppu appears to be tnts as well. I've used a couple of packets. Seemed OK. I got a heap of reload tnts in my grendel but have struggled to get them killing well.
I'm used to my 243 and ssts and the 6.5cr. The grednla is working but I'm not sold on the tnt.

Have you used them much?

Got the rifle last night. Off to sight it in with 120gr PPU this morning.
