well after 15 or more years of faithful service, my old original RCBS chargemaster went bang
thinking it might be just the motor we replaced but unfortunately, it's much worse the thing is dead
I have to replace it early next year as I'm sure I'll be overdoing things manually by then man that's time-consuming
do I go for another RCBS or? Is the question

15 years service is not bad when you consider the cost per year of buying it, I have the chargemaster mini and have been very happy with it.
I don't think you'll regret buying another RCBS they certainly save a lot of time :cool:
I just brought the Hornady Auto Charge Pro loving it after using beam scales for over 40 years.

Check out the Hornady one I'm super impressed, Back Fire on YouTube did a test on all those common ones and Hornady came out on top.Quote:

just be aware (as I'm sure you already are) youtube reviews are only as good as the bias of the person doing the review, I watched a similar review from ultimate reloader that put RCBS top of the heap, I'm sure they are pretty similar in all reality so buy what ever you can get for the most attractive price....except the Lyman I have never been overly impressed with the repeatability of Lyman auto dispensers despite viewing many favourable reviews.Quote:

I think RCBS is the best option in that style of thrower for reliability reasons.
Its worth saving and taking the leap to an A&D if funds allow. very precise and very fast.
Even though I enjoy reloading, I don’t do it slowly to spend more time doing it. I like anything that speeds it up. An hour spent making 50 rounds is just as fun as an hour spent making 20.Quote:
