    barrel length v velocity 6.5 Creedmoor

    I was going to post a question as per the title as most on the published loads online are for 24 to 28 inch barrels, and with most people using 16 to 22 inch barrels for hunting rifle I wanted to know what I could expect.
    Anyway after a bit of googling I came across this article and though it might be of interest.
    I also read the 308 one and the short and loud 308 as well

    Yeah interesting choice of powder too. Wouldn't have thought of using 8208 in a 6.5CM

    he did a good test on the effects of crown too. Makes a lot less difference than people say.

    22 inch seems to get it done 147 ELDM R17 2740fps very useful
    1000yds is fun, 1500yds is getting interesting, 2000yds is exciting, 2500yds will blow your mind
