    Go to the $2 shop and buy some glasses to read the scale with.

    I use my camera bluetoothed to my phone so I don't need to keep the camera at eye level as I can view the image from standing at the bench

    How about staying with older technology and getting yourself a good old magnifying glass and makeing a stand for that

    I tried that. Works but eye position is a bit critical and still needs to be eye level. Using the mobile it's facing at an angle up towards eyes.

    I have an old webcam I wanted to use plugged into mobile but didn't work. Read some use webcams plugged into laptops but a laptop would take up way too much space in my case.

    get an old smart phone for screen and connect to a usb inpsection camera from ali x or super cheap you dont need the drivers that come with some kits and you have a choice of cable lenght then down load the inskam app from google store free and you put the screen any plus you can use the cam for other jobs you dont need a sim in the smart as you use your wifi to download .

    Well, at $40 - $60 that would be a great option if you load heaps. Definitely worth considering for some. I'm now set up now and pretty happy esp given the No's I load. And I'm a tight arse. Lol
