    Best 6.5 powder

About to start a new load development due to my favourite melting tips leaving me,

I thought it might be a good time to try a different powder
Currently using 2209 in my 6.5 creedmoor, getting about 2700 out of a 24inch tube with the old 140gr Amax.

Just wondering if there are any better options out there, not really interested in any unicorn powders, something thats readily available and doesn't cost more than the missis shoe collection would be nice

Any recommendations? or just stick with the 2209?

I don't know about the creedmoor case but in the 6.5x55 N560 gives best speed.

Yeap, N560, 2209, 2213sc, and W760 would be the powders I would be trying with your setup

Switched from 2209 to 2208 in my 260, slightly better speed, accuracy, more consistent and with less powder. Short barrel though.

@kiwigreg How many have you got? I've already got a couple of boxes of the 140 and 143gr ELDs to be put down range so will give them a go, but you can never have too many .
