I'm having a crack at building one at the moment using a Ali disk, windscreen wiper motor and a jaycar motor speed controller kit.
The taperd base plate or grip tape that just catches the edge of the case head are a few tricks people are using to get the cases spinning...others have the case spinning on a small rotating disk once the case has reached the flame. Case indexing is by a cam type arrangement.
Hopefully a single flame is all that's needed if its angled towards the flow of cases and the speed is set correctly.
I reckon the thickness of the indexing disk is also important as you want it to act as a heat sink to avoid overheating the lower half of the brass.
