+1 for Hornady training ammo if/when it becomes available. Like Gimp I'm only down to my last couple of hundred, I cuddle them at night and talk to them. I've seen some on TM from time to time for $55/box.

If you're after stuff to walk in, pay and walk out with, then Reloaders in Onehunga who also usually get a regular supply of the Hornady stuff. If you're happy to go to Police, wait, get forms signed, fax off, wait for courier to deliver then Belmont is a great option. It's just that sometimes it's easier to drive to the shop and drive away with the components.
It wouldn't eject from my HOWA 223 either so just used brass cases. Its common with Howa and VC fixed the problem with a reamer I think when he bought the gun off me..

Federal American Eagle 50gr stuff is reasonably cheap (my local shop has it at $20/20 or $90/100 so I'm sure you could get a better price buying bulk) and shoots well for most people. Makes cute fluffy bunnies explode.

I haven't tried cheap Russian stuff myself but have one mate who gave up on it after averaging 1-2 misfires per 10 shots. Might have been a bad batch but doesn't inspire confidence.

Be caREFUL with the Barnell, haven't seen many rifles that shoot it any good. (read: only one in fact)

Belmont, hmmm, service is different. That means when they don't even get back to you with a price on a minimum 5000 lot they had a FAIL.

The brass hornady training ammo landed back in NZ a week or so ago. They didnt get as much as they ordered but most shops who had back orders should have some by now .

    None on the shelves though.
They only have Remington, Winchester, Fed Match, Barnaul and that Ozzie made stuff in store.
