    Bismuth

    Anyone loading bismuth shot 12 gauge loads. Was given some so wanted to load some to try for next season

    Yes. Its less dense than lead so 1 1/4 oz .ec shot bar drops about 1 1/8th oz weight. I use HS6 OR HS7 powder in winchester aa cases. Load light powder charges and plastic wads.

    What weight grain for your powder I have some win 540 which is near in equivalent to hs6

    I don't thing hodgdon actually make powder , they re package other manufacturers produce .
    Yeah I think they are the same. Hs6 prob the new label as I don't think they make 540 as a win powder anymore.
