    Bullet puller Marlborough

    Hi team,

Have a batch of reloads i am unhappy with. I would like to pull the projectiles and save the powder and brass. I have the old hammer (inertia) one and it sucks. Anyone in Marlborough with a decent one that will do the job. Happy to leave you with the 165g TGK and what ever else it costs.
    Cheers Dan

If you don't care about saving the bullets just use a pair of pliers and your press

I used to use vice grips flat on top of press to grip projectiles and moved ram back down to pull them out. Damaged maybe one in ten projectiles and even they weren't bad. Snap.

Thank you @gimp and @Micky Duck. Worked a treat. Hardest part was using a skewer to flick the powder out of the primer pockets.
Unfortunately I did mark the 30 odd projectiles, will bin them. Changing to 155g ELD m.

    300wsm 4 life,
Did you find the 165 TGK a bit hard or not able to get to shoot well?
Looking at them myself for .30-06 use

I swapped powder from 2208 to 2206H(same as I use in 223) and they didn't goup as well with the 06 powder. They are very good at dropping animals, I just want a tighter grouping. I think most of the issue for me is mag length, pretty restricted in my Bergara. I tried a longer seating depth and that worked better but it meant I would need to single feed, not interested in that.
