On a serious note it raises the question about shards of metal (lead) in meat. Is it more likely to be pieces of copper than the lead core?

I don’t use meat near bullet wound, there are studies about lead in meat, which has lead to most Game Dealers in UK buying Deer shot with Non Lead bullets.

Lead poisoning from game meat is a beat up. I' mean who doesn't remove the damaged meat?. Casting in a poorly vented space is another matter.
