Case length too short?
I have one of those lyman case length trimmers, unbeknown to me it must have loosened a bit recently; the locking bit that sets the length has slipped and i've accidentally been shortening my .338 Lapua cases down to 68mm or just over, rather than the 69.2mm Laupa factory spec. Looks like a dozen cases have suffered this fate, am I best to toss them, or just keep the separate and hope firing them will fire-form them back up to spec so they can go back in the box with the others from the same batch?
Cheers, Tom

I have done this, not with that case specifically. They eventually they grow again and will need another trim. No danger with shooting them.

Just give them plenty of water and sunshine, they will be back to normal in no time.
Also, provided you are not using your seating die as a crimp, you should be about the same as a longer case.

Trim the rest to the same I recon or set them aside for foulers.
