    Case lube for FL size

Currently use the Lee lube in a tube, but was wondering if my Dillon spray would do the job just as well ? If I put them in a bag and sprayed the life out of it ?

Got @400 .223 to do on a single stage. Sigh...

Have learnt the hard way about not lubing properly for resizing

throw that tooth paste shite as far as you can NOW
I use plain old vasoline on body of case and have started to use powdered graphite in steel shot for case necks
go on...THROW IT AWAY....NOW..... seriously it causes headaches and grief for someone new plurry near everytime I look in reloading section.
    chuck it NOW

Only one product to use.....Imperial die wax for the body, and i dip the neck into the graphite powder container (with the little beads in it)

The die wax goes a very long way!

Do you just have a small container with a handful of shot pellets and a pottle of graphite powder mixed in and shake it up every once in while and dip mouth/neck in it?

Tip all 400 of them onto a clean towel then give them about 4 sprays with the Dillon case lube.
Give them a good shake in the towel and repeat.
I find a hand towel works well. Grab all 4 corners to give the cases a tumble about.
Use the same towel, after awhile you can cut down on the spray.
    Loaded thousands using this technique.

I was having some trouble with the lee lube last night, brand new redding dies and the 270wsm cases werent going in and out without a fight.

After checking the dies were adjusted properly I gave some of the coconut oil sitting in the pantry a go just to see what it was like. Sorted the problem almost instantly. I dont know if its good practice but i cant see it being bad for the dies or cases? Could be wrong.

NOW...not a minute longer...and for you who want to know why, have a read around, stuck cases, broken dies, press threads stripped hair pulled out
I have a wee jar of #7 steel shot and tip it into jars lid with puff of graphite powder say 1/4 teaspoon..works great.

I use "one shot" in the spray can. Tend to do large batches by spraying and then repeating a coat before I size.
Never use the one shot in the pump pot. It is a completely different formula and will result in stuck cases.

I've been told that inox is good as is lanolin spray but am yet to use it as it's the old story. If it works don't change it.

Throw a heap in a bag, couple sprays of Dillon lube and jiggle/knead them all around

I have done 10s of thousands of cases this way and no issues whatsoever. If you get a dry case in the die, there is generally enough residue around that you hardly even feel it
Alcohol will flash off and Lanolin stays behind.
Works as a mould release for casting also.

    Lee is SHIT
    One Shot is Shit
Imperial wax is good, but a real time waster if doing any volume

Haha. Haven't even opened the door to the gun room since dumping everything in there on Tuesday, been flat out with work

Will look up this thread when I do to remind myself of the proper procedures.
