    Case trimming;Ugly

Doing some 270 for a mate. Thought some brass were possibly too long. Had bought an Ugly trimmer and a 270 collet along with various other collets. It is very well made. Great packaging, design and instructions. It performed flawlessly . Has a standard HSS drill. You can upgrade to carbide drill if you want. Carbindenz in Palmy sell them. Make sure you get 3/8. The trimming was excellent. Have a WTF trimmer in 223 but this ugly leaves it for dead.

I've got the Lee case trimmer as well, watching the Ugly video, it looks like way less faffing around and more importantly very fine adjustment AND one trimmer does multiple calibre's

One is capable of doing multiple calibers however you would need to set the adjustment everytime you swapped calibers, I had one and definitely would like a couple more 1 in 270 and 1 in 7prc so I could just set and forget.
Definitely quicker than my Lyman trimmer.
I have more pressing issues currently.

Does anyone know who is selling these I NZ currently

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

Almost pushed the buy button on the Derraco when he lowered his prices.
In the end decided to stay with my Forster. The Forster is good, it trims, chamfers inside and out all in one operation.

I like the Derraco though as it indexes off the shoulder.
Have bought some other stuff off Derraco and the quality is top notch.

It's not a story for here and probably mundane for some, the special on the ugly trimmers was too good to pass up especially for the amount of time it saves and considering the $$$ I got back selling my old trimmer and chamfer tools.
The ugly was an easy choice having owned one before and now that they sell a chamfer bit the fits that's another job I'll be able to do alot faster and still consistent.

I reckon the lee trim dies are the way to go, have a Lyman trimmer because can't get every caliber in the trim dies but for the ones I do have they are super quick and consistent
