    CFE 223 powder

Used in 223 and 22-250 with excellent results for bolt and ar15 anyone else suing this powder?? Previously used Benchmark 2 and thought that was very good CFE223 next step up.

I have a brand new tin here i was going to try with 168s in the 308.
Haven't got round to trying it yet.
    Published velocitys looked very good.

I guess you would have to shoot a hell of a lot or have a copper fouler to notice?

When I tried it ages ago in the 22 Terminator it gave about 50fps more velocity than ADI powders.
Accuracy was crappy at about 3/4-1" at 100 compared to 1/4-1/2 with 2206h or 2208.
The pressure curve graph was a lot wider with CFE than ADI, it was taking varying amounts of time to ignite.
This was probably the accuracy issue in this calibre.
I haven't tried it in anything else.

Tried it in my AR-10 and was getting 2740 with 47.5 grain behind a 178 H BTHP, ES was 14 FPS. Barrel length is 22 inches.
