Thread: CFE BLK - alternative uses

Hello all

I have a couple of jars of CFE BLK from my 300 BLK/7.62x39 now gone projects.

I see it is pretty similar to Reloder 7 in burn rate - and I'm down to half a jar of that.

Published load data for CFE BLK is fairly sparse and Quickload doesn't have data for it - has anyone done any experimenting or have experience in using it beyond published data??

I just experimented with CFE BLK with 300 Blackout. My general instinct is that it is probably more suited to subsonic loads compared to IMR 4227 and Lil Gun.

It is outstanding in the .17 hornet.
Hang onto it, I will buy it off you, at the next SI big bore shoot. If you can wait that long.

data says it ok in 22 k hornet by the looks not that i have one
