Yes and no. Dropped a few Jap with it couple of weeks ago. The 7x57 does the same thing, same action and is very capable on the range. Same action you got for me 40+years ago.

Been using the 140, 180 and 208 they all kill really well as long as you don’t hit the scapula.

Sentiment, carried the Ruger too many miles, 'sides it just plain shoots. A mate's got a T3, seems to be very anal about ensuring the mags locked in. Nice looking bit of plastic and stainless though.
