I just went and tested a scope today for elevation adjustment calibration but straining the brain to put the results into shooter.
The results were with 20 m0a adjusted it only lifted the shots 18-1/4 inches and 20 moa should be almost 21 inches (20.94)
Who has done the same and knows the maths to get this to work so i dont have to troll the www allnight and lose my precious beauty sleep!

Multiply your MOA dope by 1.096 to convert it??
i have just been on their website and they explain it well .but just got to do the maths or is what you have done the solution gimp

If you use the Bryan Litz Applied Ballistics app, you can factor that error in as a % I think, then the program allows for the error.
In shooter if you edit your firearm there is a field called Elev Correction factor. That is where you put it in. You should put in what Gimp said.
There is also the option to custom set the actual click adjustment that your scope has, so rather than using the standard 1/4" or 1/4 MOA you can set this in shooter to match what your turret clicks are actually giving.
Does that effect just the profile that you are in when you input the correction or all of your saved profiles?Quote:

I understand the physical side of the problem and am to lazy to work out the maths!
