    Faulty brass

While loading up some 7x61 Sharps & Hart today i found some faulty brass, annoying when someone wants 50x ammo to use

There are so many steps to making brass/ammo that i bet there are all sorts of failures making their way into reloading rooms

What problems have you guys seen with new brass or ammo

    7x61 S&H

I had a few brass problems over the years,
Hornardy .17 hornet, was the worst, pockets too shallow, and, dished rim, last few lots have been very good.
had a few rem and Winchester brass, in the likes of .204, 6mm rem and 7x57, .270 with badly damaged (crushed) but in loose bags, so expect the odd one to be damaged.
the odd split case, and crushed case making .221 fireball in to 17 fireball.

I've had shallow pockets on 17 hornet as well, also a batch that had rims too thick to close the boly on

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

That's an easy one, just pull down on the lever like your life depends on it.....

Please don't do this hahaha. I cringe when I hear about compact loads.
