    Borescopes have ruined more barrels than everything else put together. No go look. When accuracy drops away then you get a new barrel not before.

    So true.. And that's the plan. Just wondering if anyone has monitored erosion until accuracy goes before.

    I think Bore scopes have their place. I agree one can get over concerned at what you see compared to accuracy. In saying that I use mine when I buy a rifle ( can see damage, rust, copper fouling, throat erosion etc). It’s also very useful to check things like scope base screw protrusion in to the chamber.
