My biggest complaint with the lee powder measure, is that in my experience, they leak out the drum when using a ball powder.

It might need a bit of graphite powder and adjusting.

W296 ball powder siezed up the rotating tube on my RCBS Chargemaster. "Ball" powder is a total misnomer with 296 being not ball like but virtually dust. And yet I have run pounds of W760 thru the CM without issue. 760 is a lot courser than 296. Otherwise the 760 meters beautifully thru the CM.

After reading your post I went and tried again, turns out I was being stingy with the case lube, worked a treat this time round, another lesson learned!

Perfect, yano how somethings not obvious until you see it? Yeah, that! lol
That looks like it would take a lot of the effort out of the handpress as all your energy is going into working the action rather than working and balancing, good mod!

    Yeh,
I put my trimmer, a traditional Simplex in the vice too.
Also a cheap Lee C press that I use for de-priming and priming with a Ram Prime. Both are bolted to timber that is put in the jaws.

Simplex O frame is bolted to the bench

Not keen on the, Lee Lube, Jammed, so donated it to the reloading bay at the range. Imperial resizing wax has been awesome, rub on with fingers, you get to know which part of the case needs lubing so economical as well.

Funny how different strokes work for different folks. I started with Imperial, tried some Hornady stuff and something else I forget years ago. Made my own stuck.case extraction to go with them. Then I found the Lee stuff on a YouTube, followed the guys instructions and never looked back. Bought a half doz tubes dirt cheap from someone who prob hadn't figured it out so I'm set for life. That and the Dillon spray- on lanolin & Isopropyl alcohol mix, for a tumble lube for bulk pistol cases which I could easily make up if so inclined. Best thing about the Lee stuff is once on it is just as good after a day or a weeks drying.

This works well as a case lube. Great rust for prevention too.

This is local and looks to be a very similar lanolin based product
