Sounds like i need one of every make haha! Great feedback.

    Main reloading is the 222/3, 300blk, 22-250, 6mm etc.

Zimmer - any issues with the smaller rounds like .222 in the universal?

Thanks I will chase up a couple of Lyman holders... I had tried a few different ones but not the OEM ones... duh!

Another guy I had discussed it with said "from experience" it was the brass... so thanks for the heads up.

Lee ram prime in the Lee hand press and Lee large and small safety prime in a Lee challenger press.

I seem to like the ram prime more. I know you can get better and more flashy tools but I just use what I have.

I have two RCBS Universals - one set up for Large Primers, one for Small... best of the mid-range hand priming tools I've had.

Loved the old Lees, but broke too many of them. Hated the new Lyman hand priming tool, it didn't seem to have enough leverage to seat in tight or new primer pockets.

In longrange riflery, trajectory is the pure science part. Gravity is a constant for our purposes.
Wind is in the art department.
    Light is pure fucking voodoo.

I have a lyman, same thing as above I had to buy lyman shell holders as my primers weren’t seating deep enough with the others. Good as gold once I sorted that though

I've only used the Lee one with the round tray and never had any issues. There were a few guys breaking the lever and there was a member on here that was selling replacement ones that were a bit more robust but I cant remember who that was.

Got a Sinclair one...great feel on seating. Beautifully made, solid. Not cheap though.

    Lyman Ez-Prime.

Reload a couple of thousand 308 small rifle primer cases per year.

Never had any issues with primer seating depth.

Yes, looks like a quality tool. Handle comfortable, appears a tad short.

21st Century tool is superior again. Easier to adjust than the Sinclair.
