    I like Leathel's 338SAUM idea. It would push the 210gr Barnes at a good speed.

    I couldnt think of a better round for what this thread asks... You can use the 100gn pills for goats or wallabys or smaller critters or step up to something abit bigger in the bush....     Your "Mantra" might apply to a 270 Rem Mag as well.

    270cal 140 Ballistic Tips/Barnes projectiles perform when given a good shove..
