    Hornady 30 cal 110gr CX

    Are these any good? Are they an SST in new trousers? Similarly is the heatshield the same? Got some spare cases and thought I would roll up some for my mate.

    Not Hornady, but Ive been hunting with 110gr Barnes TTSX for years. I've shot anything from as small as a rabbit to a big kudu bulls with it. Longest shot was at a Kudu at 470m.

    Entered a bit high on the shoulder but got both lungs and top of hart and exited on far shoulder. Animal want 30m and expired.

    Shot several Oryx, impala, Warthog and blesbuck. The giraffe just got lucky...... Swore never to use anything else for hunting.
