I have one and works as it should, it's not a redding comp seater but you probably can't shoot that well to tell the difference!Quote:

They work well
It doesn't change how the die seats bullets. Same seating stem. Same level of precision. The difference is in the ease of adjustment.
The Hornady die works perfectly well and the microjust makes it easier to dial in the adjustment needed to get the required seating depth. The caveat is it relies on the press linkage coming to a mechanical stop for its end point which can introduce variability depending on your press and how much effort you put into the lever.
The design of the Forster and some others has the shell holder stopping on the bottom of die body which provides a very distinct end point. With the two calibres I have Forster dies for they're superb for consistency.
I used them in conjunction with oal gauge. I would deliberately seat too long, measure then dial to seat the extra few though. Was a bit time consuming, but worth it.
Even fitted to my hornady 45-70 seater die. Made a huge difference there. The redding ones have a cal specific seating stem no?
I like my one but can be quite hard to see compared to Redding's white on black markings
They work fine but can't verify if they calibrate correctly, as stug says keep checking with an oal guage to get exactly what you want.
Think they used to be much cheaper, like everything gone up.
You might also want to consider using in conjunction with ELDM seating stem if using them as well?
Have two - cant be arsed switching over on diff cal dies - lazy, yes. Work well - they seem to calibrate fairly well - though Im always checking with the digital calipers anyways - I like them, they do what I need to do. Im sure there are other devices that work better but Ive not used them.

Gave the new microjust a run over the weekend, punched out over 100 rounds for 2 different rifles, bloody happy with the results. Cheers for the insite lads
