Well if it's true it certainly won't hurt. We are a slave to their economy. If it's expensive there it's worse here.
If it's cheaper there it will be less here.

Over recent decades the US has out sourced a lot of its production of components for ammunition production if not the ammo itself. Currently most rifle powder used in the US is manufactures in Australia, Canada and Europe. Tariffs or what we would call duty has now been slapped on all of these countries by the yellow one. The ammo in the clip I think is 5.56mm and the move seems to be driven by overseas events. How much of this is real is debatable and how much this would effect the price of non military ammo or components is conjecture at best. Watch this space, as I said earlier don't hold your breath.
