    Labradar Down

Iv had this unit for just on a year, its been faultless, easy to set up and aim and very reliable untill the last trip when it stopped reading. Then it wouldn't arm , just gave an error message error exp:22972 " arming error Radar calibration indicates the transmitter is not in acceptable range" .
I tried new batteries, updated firmware etc but no go so sent the company an email. The reply was swift with a form and instructions to send to Aus for inspection. Its off in the morning so we will see how it goes.

Delivery was fine, took 5 days. I got a phone call on the 7th from the repair guy, its Hellwig, some might be familiar with the company. Apparently he is the only one that can repair the unit and was out of the country for three weeks. So good communication and seemed like a good bloke but a delay, still waiting for a further update.

Had a line on the screen, then it moved, now its gone...good times...

Still doesn't work, just as well I have a couple of spare Oehler 35Ps

why didn't you return to where you got it from? - they (could be me too) would sort it (with the distributor) - saves freight too

Yes my unit came from you and returning it was my first thought but on contacting Labradar in the US they instructed me to send it direct to the repairer. Im not concerned about the cost of freight at all and I would still have had to ship it to you first so it seemed simpler to just send it.All good mate.

Looks like my lefty is looking safer every day. My old trusty CHRONO is still going strong at a tenth of the cost.
