Anyone running this? I'm waiting to get some and am ordering some reloading gear from the States and want to get the appropriate neck bush for the brass. I've heard it's a bit thicker in the neck than Hornady brass (which I use a 0.288 bush for).
Can you please measure a few loaded rounds and reply with the measured size.

Use both Hornady and Lapua. Loaded rounds measure 0.291 at the neck in both. I use Wilson bushings in 0.289 for target shooting and 0.288 for hunting loads.
Gunworks will sell you 50 Lapua Creedmoor 6.5 brass for $115 and their service and freight charges are top notch. Don't forget that the primer pocket and flash hole is small rifle on the Lapua CM brass.
The Lapua SP brass I have is 14.5 thou neck wall thickness (0.0145) I think I use a .289 bushing as well.
It is smaller than standard small dia pin on a decapping rod. No big drama but you could end up reaming it out a tad if you dont know........ and then you have lost the edge it is supposed to aid ( one of them anyway )

Just watched a review that was using Starline. Looks decent.
It was 308 but the necks were consistent and they offered small and large I think?
.289/.288 is quite a bit of neck tension if the cases are 14.5'
264 + 29 = 293
Got a 288, 289 & 290. Might end up turning the necks slightly if they do measure 0.0145

i can get 100 Lapua cases for around $200 tyd. watch 6.5 guys on youtube they get 20+ loads out of lapua brass, remember Lapua is Small Rifle Primer.
