    Lapua

Seen this on various overseas forums..

Due to the continued high demand of Lapua cases and the prevailing market conditions impacted especially by the Ukraine situation, Lapua case availability will continue to be limited and delivery times extended. To better serve our civilian and military obligations, we are indefinitely suspending production on a selection of cases. It is our intention to resume production of these calibers as soon as market conditions stabilize.

    Lapua is discontinuing 7.62x39 cases.
Lapua is suspending the production of the following cases:
    222
    22-250
    6 Creedmoor
    6.5x47
    6.5 Grendel
    6.5x284
    7mm-08
    7x64
    7x65R
    284
    308 Palma (small p)
    7.62x53R
    8x57
    260 Remington

What a waste, Lapua brass being left on the ground in Ukraine - sacrilege

I had an email recently about a shipment that had just arrived, 308 Palma and 260 was there, and I think Grendel and 6.5/284. Might be the last lot for a while.

Was surprised at the 300 win mag

Belted cases Havnt been made at Lapua for a very long time, they are contracted out and subjected to the same quality standards

They need to get some 7mm rem mag brass made

Thank you for the heads up. It prompted me to chase up an extra hundred of 260Rem but was already gone by this weekend. Did find some at reloadersdirect for a very reasonable price ($210.00+postage) so grabbed a box. Better than forking out $80.00/25 for Norma!!
Have enough to see me out now and if I lose the odd one in the grass I won’t have a hernia rooting around looking for it

Pity about the 22 250 though.

    Thanks for the heads-up Zimmer.
It's a pity though... as arguably the best 6.5mm and 7mm cartridges are on that list.
And it is very good brass.
Luckily I have 202 brand new cases already of each of the ones I like from this list.
