Factory crimp die? I think I've got one here unless I sold it

The lee one I've used on 30/30 in the past was a neat bit of kit...too easy to use.ive done it on .45/70 with pipe cutter lol.

Yes, usually, although that's a roll crimp and requires a groove to crimp into

Correct.so when you set up seating die in press you put in your TRIMMED case,raise ram,screw die down until press arm quivers,then instead of backing it out half turn you go in half turn.....or there abouts.

Mine are all fine so far...

No. Tight. It was when I put them in the mag they were at the edge of the mag. Never thought about it. . Smidgen lower in the die. Cured length. They load sweet...and tight.

You do not anneal? Even if you have mixed brass it certainly goes along way to get uniform necks with proper tension. 2C. Can send you down 10 of the 62's to illustrate point. [lovely neutral phrase eh. MD would be proud. ]

Question to the reloading professionals:

I have H335 and AR2206H available. Which one would be more suitable for the 62gr (or general heavier) projectile?

Not going to be much in it.

H335 you will probably get a fraction less velocity before reaching pressure. It's more temp sensitive too. May or May not work better with a magnum primer. Plus side it won't be compressed.

AR2206H, temp stable, definitely won't need a magnum primer, but will probably end up compressed if you want top speeds.

BM2.

There will be no explanation but BM2 always works for me with 60 grn range copper bullets and .223 (Maker, Barnes, Hammer). Maker accuracy is "good enough" at around an inch for 5, Hammer simply stunning.

Is anyone getting real precision with Makers in .223?
