Making & loading ammo the Afg/Pakistan way..Watch to the end.

Amazing home made ammo & projectile manufacturing. Maybe we don't need all the fancy equipment after all.....just a bit of engin..ingin...cunning.
I think the first guy is shortening Berdan 7.62x51 to x39 length.
I'd be interested to find out the fps variations & accuracy on the x39ers near the end.

    Happy viewing & be impressed.

max loads on the powder! It's interesting to see what can be done without all the fanschy schmanschy stuff us westerners insist on!

With 2206 you cannot overload the x39 case with 123-150grn projectiles,it just won't fit too much in.

Great watch, the use of drill press makes lot of sense.pretty sure old mate from lake Waikarimoana was doing things that way with his home turned dies for .45/70 sure does show how unfussy loading can be and still work depending on desired end result.

Seen this and other similar videos before. Process is no different to what any manufacturer has done in history. As for overloads, pick a powder that can be compressed without resulting in high pressure and Bobs your uncle. A lot on here are forever chasing max velocity and lose sight of the fact that best accuracy can be found at less than maximum velocity. KISS still works and is a fact of life in a lot of places on this world.
