The PRC is just a temporary distraction for me. Am enjoying getting to know it but it cant touch my 300saum or 270wsm.Quote:

I had a spare action with a magnum bolt face and a couple boxes of 147's which I couldn't get up to what I wanted with a 6.5x47L, so the choice was pretty straightforward.
Should imagine my barrel and brass will go just as long - if not longer - than a hotrodded smaller case.
Not sure, but its a warm load of RL25 - probably 0.5gn below hitting pressure (bolt lift and head stamp marks) Pretty sure i could push it harder, especially if I changed over to RL26.Quote:
