    New 308 cartridge.

Buffalo River (Australia) has loaded a .308 cartridge, loaded by ADI, and distributed by OSA. It throws out a 135gn Sierra HP at 3000fps!
Has anyone seen it for sale here or even tried it.
I have some Belmont 130 grain for my BSA Majestic, and was wondering how these would be?
It's a very light rifle and I prefer something under 150 grain.

I load 135gn SMK's for target shooting. They group under .5moa out of my Schultz and Larsen with MV of 2940fps. I hav'nt tried them on deer or goats.

Even a light 308 you shouldn't find the recoil a big factor using 150gr than 130gr.Bit different when its 180gr but 150gr is pretty tame in a 308 and mines reasonable light

What powder would that be Kiwi_Lad?

The Speer used to be a very popular deer bullet with a number of my mates many years ago. Those of us that preferred to use 150g bullets used to refer to the 130 Speers as hand grenades.
