Thread: New 7 SAUM Reloading

Picked up rebarrelled Tikka from Jaco a week or so ago and have finally got round to chucking some lead down range.
300wsm donor with 20” Bartlein #0 contour 9 twist featherweight (definitely not a featherweight)

Loaded up some rounds with 2217 and 7828SSC.

Was shooting ADG brass and ELDM 162s

I’ll be sticking with 2217 as it’s more temp stable and easier to get. Looking like I’ll load up a few at 67 grains 2217, shoot a decent group and hope for the best. Was blowing its tits off up the Rangitikei this morning, which I’m sure didn’t help my shooting.

Pretty sure the 66 grain group was a slightly loose suppressor.
